Croeso / Welcome
I am Sarah Zyborska. Living and working bilingually on Ynys Mon (Anglesey) in the very North of beautiful Cymru (Wales).
Thank you for visiting my page! Here I will introduce you to my work as a musician as well as my creative projects.
I would love to talk to you about any aspect of my work and I'm always open to new ideas, collaboration or simply connecting with fellow creatives over a panad (cup of tea) or gwin (wine)

Mae Sarah Zyborksa yn gantores-gyfansoddwr dwyieithog gyda llawer o dannau i'w bwa. Mai'n artist unigol sydd hefyd yn cydweithio mewn amryw o fandiau eraill, sydd â gradd Meistr mewn ysgrifennu sgrin ac mae ganddi gwmni cynhyrchu (SdoRi) gyda'i gŵr, mae'n gyd-sylfaenydd cwmni cerddoriaeth di-elw CEG, yn gweithio yn y gymuned mewn amryw o brosiectau cerdd ac yn cynllunio ac yn rheoli prosiectau cerdd sy'n canolbwyntio'n arbennig ar fentora menywod ifanc. Mae hi hefyd yn gweithio ar ei liwt ei hun ar draws cyfryngau creadigol gyda gwyliau, cwmnïau cynhyrchu a mwy.

A pianist, guitar player and a singer-songwriter, SERA (Sarah Zyborska's solo stage name) makes music in English and Welsh and has 6 albums in her catalogue. Her music spans Americana, folk and pop.
Having grown up in Caernarfon, North Wales, a place steeped in history, culture, between the Snowdonia Mountains and the Irish sea, you could understand her love of folklore and how landscape is a big source of inspiration behind her music. Her latest album, When I Wake Up, is a collection of songs inspired by anxiety, love, nostalgia, ancestry, witches, ships and lost worlds.
Performances include: Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Other Voices, How the Light Gets in, Festival Number 6, Wakestock, Fresh on the Net Live, BBC Radio 2, BBC Maide Vale, BBC 6 Music, North American Festival of Wales.
Awards: BBC Horizons/Gorwelions
PRSF Lyndsey du Paul Prize.
One of the highlights of the last couple of years for me has been the formation of Tapestri. A meeting of minds and a shared love of Americana.
Tapestri is a band sparked by a chance meeting with fellow Welsh singer-songwriter Lowri Evans at Festival Interceltique de Lorient in the summer of 2019 where they were both performing as solo artists at the Welsh Pavilion.
Fuelled by their passion for folk and Americana music and the desire to form a bilingual female-fronted band,
After releasing a number of bilingual singles and performances at Focus Wales, Between the Trees, Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau, Noson Lawen, Gwyl Fwyd Caernarfon, and represented Wales in the first ever Global Music Match, this summer they were crowd favourites on the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival and Greenman, released a limited edition hand made CD and played two sold out hometown shows.
We look forward to a number of shows and festivals over the autumn and their debut album will be released in March 2023.
